INTERNATIONAL YOUTH ENCOUNTER 2022

  • THEMA: „Colourful Europe - Engage for diversity and democracy!“ Urban Art, Street Art, Music, New Media Upcycling

    16.-25. Juni 2022, Graz - Österreich

    Jugendliche aus den Ländern SLO, HU, LVA, BGR und AT werden gemeinsam mit Experten aus dem Bereich Menschenrechte und Demokratie sowie internationalen Künstlern im Bereich Urban Art, Street Art, Musik, Neue Medien und Freestyle in Form von Workshops zum Thema arbeiten und ihre Ergebnisse einer großen Öffentlichkeit präsentieren.

    PROJEKTHINTERGRUND

    Das Projekt möchte ein wichtiges Signal für mehr Demokratie und Menschenreche in der Europäischen Union setzen, und gegen Populismus, Abspaltungstendenzen und wachsende rechte Strömungen in den Ländern der EU eintreten. Europa braucht mehr denn je eine BEWEGUNG für mehr Solidarität und Demokratie.

    • Stärkung der Demokratie und der Menschenrechte in der EU durch aktive Bürgerbeteiligung
    • Stärkung der jugendlichen Informationskompetenz auf politischen Themen
    • Wissensgenerierung über das Projekt "Europäische Union und Europäische Werte"
    • Förderung des interkulturellen Dialogs und aktive Bürgerschaft durch Kreativität und Kultur
    • Dynamische Plattform für Jugendkultur
    • Förderung der Vernetzung und Zusammenarbeit von Organisationen im Jugendbereich

    TEILNEHMERINNEN

    Teilnehmer aus den Ländern Lettland, Bulgarien Slowenien, Ungarn und Österreich im Alter von 15-30 Jahren. Die Teilnehmer gliedern sich in Schüler, Studenten, Lehrlinge, sozial benachteiligte Jugendliche, NEETS, Jugendliche mit Behinderung und Migrationshintergrund.

    Young people from Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria will work together in form of workshops with international artists in the field of urban art, street art, music, new media and freestyle, transform the topic creatively and will present their work to a large section of the general public in a final concert, show and exhibition.

    PROJECT-BACKGROUND

    The youth-culture-project wants to build awareness and knowledge about the topic "Diversity and Democracy" in Europe and wants to give a strong signal for a peaceful and responsible coexistence in our society, to master future challenges such as streams of refugees. social equity and fair distribution of resources.

    PROJECT OBJECTIVES

    • promoting intercultural dialogue and active citizenship by means of creativity and culture
    • dynamic platform of youth culture
    • encouraging networking, mobility and cooperations of organizations in the field of youth

    PARTICIPANTS

    Participants from Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria aged between 15 and 30 will attend this Youth Exchange. The young people will be devided into pupils, students, apprentices, NEET´s, socially deprived teenagers as well as young people from a migration background and Youths with disabilities.

Rado Poggi - Slowenien I Ökonom und Politologe

Rado Carlo Poggi, geboren 1974 in Regensburg, Deutschland. Nach seinem Studium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Politikwissenschaften an der Universität Regensburg engagiert sich der diplomierte Betriebswirt und Politologe als Ausstellungsmacher, Kunstproduzent. Seit 2000 initiierte er kulturpolitische Projekte und arbeitete bei Publikationen und Ausstellungen mit. Schwerpunkt: politisch und sozial engagierte Kunst. Neben dem internationalen Ausstellungsprojekt necessary discourse on hysteria, 2008 in Slovenj Gradec in Slowenien, hat dies zur Eröffnung des Flatz-Museums in Dornbirn geführt.

Rado Poggi - Slovenia I Economist and Political Scientist

Rado Carlo Poggi was born in 1974 in Regensburg, Germany. After his studies of economics and political science at the University of Regensburg, the graduated economist and political scientist is engaged as an exhibition maker, art producer. Since 2000 he initiated cultural-political projects and collaborated on publications and exhibitions. Focus: politically and socially engaged art. In addition to the international exhibition project necessary discourse on hysteria, 2008 in Slovenj Gradec in Slovenia, this has led to the opening of the Flatz Museum in Dornbirn.

Zsuzsanna Pálóczi - Ungarn I Historikerin

Zsuzsanna Pálóczi, geboren 1960 in Egyhazasradoc, Ungarn. Studien der Geschichte & Kunstgeschichte. Zsuzsanna Pálóczi arbeitete als Historikerin und Lehrbeauftragte in Budapest, später als Kulturmanagerin in der Kunstgalerie in Szombathely und ist seit 1994 als Vizedirektorin im Kulturzentrum Körmend tätig. Internationale Ausstellungsorganisation: World Dance Day, Festival of Speed, Raba Coast Music Festival, ReArte Gallery.

Zsuzsanna Pálóczi - Hungary I Historian

Zsuzsanna Pálóczi, born in 1960 in Egyhazasradoc, Hungary. Studies of history & history of art. Zsuzsanna Pálóczi worked as a historian and lecturer in Budapest, later as a cultural manager in the Art Gallery in Szombathely, and since 1994 she has been working as a vice-director in the Körmend Cultural Center. Urska Cerce - Slowenien I Journalistin

Urška Čerče, ausgebildete Pianistin, arbeitet seit mehr als 15 Jahren als Autorin und Produzentin verschiedener Radio und TV-Formaten sowie als freie Journalistin. Vor allem im journalistischen Bereich hat sie sich in den letzten Jahren zu einer der engagiertesten kulturpolitischen Berichterstatterinnen Sloweniens entwickelt.

Urska Cerce - Slovenia I Journalist

Urška Čerče, a trained pianist, has been working for more than 15 years as an author and producer of various radio and TV formats, as well as a freelance journalist. Especially in the journalistic field, she has become one of Slovenia's most committed cultural-political reporters in recent years.
